The Starry Messenger is an educational film drama celebrating the International Year of Astronomy - marking 400 years of Galileo's telescope (see our replica, right).

Designed with GCSE Physics & Astronomy courses in mind, we are distributing the film plus explanatory textbook free of charge to over 1000 schools nationwide.

The Starry Messenger received its official premiere during the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science (right), in the Weston Auditorium of the University of Hertfordshire on 22nd April 2009.

There was a good attendance, and the screening was repeated on the EWASS Schools Day on 24th April, and at Letchworth Museum on 25th.
