
The plot above shows a V, U plot for the objects from Murray et al (2011).
As can be seen, we find that two objects stand out from the 1- and 2-sigma disc velocity ellipsoids.
These are ULAS J0926+0835 and ULAS J1319+1209.
The space motions of these objects (U=62 kms-1 and V=-140 kms-1, and U=192 kms-1 and V=-92 kms-1 respectively) make these candidates for being the first discovered T dwarfs from the galactic halo population.
Interestingly, though, these are not the bluest objects in our sample. That is ULAS J1233+1219, which appears to display disc-like kinematics.
